The Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Black Chamber (GHBC) is proud to announce Jeffrey D. Wallace as their new President and CEO.

Mr. Wallace is the past President of the Altus Foundation where he provided oversight to all integral aspects of the organization and directed the facilitation of all programs. Dedicated to public service and uplifting his community; Mr. Wallace also has previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Houston Area Urban League, Director of Client and Community Services for the Gulf Coast Community Services Association and Outreach Program Administrator for Shell Oil, where he led their diversity initiatives.

Courtney Johnson Rose, Chair of the Board of Directors stated, “We are excited for what the future holds for GHBC under the leadership of Jeffrey D. Wallace. His enthusiasm combined with stellar business acumen, community leadership and involvement made the decision seamless. We have an undeniable surety that this organization will flourish and garner both local and national consideration and acclaim under his direction.”

GHBC is proud to announce the official Presidential Meet and Greet, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Kulture, one of Houston’s newest and most innovative restaurants. Kulture is located downtown in the trendy Avenida De Las Americas guild.

GHBC members and the community are invited to come out and meet President and CEO Jeffrey D. Wallace as well as experience the African and Caribbean inspired cuisine with southern flare.
