METRO’s summer listening tour is moving ahead with stops in the north and southwest Greater Houston region next week. The public is invited to share ideas for transit service now and into the future. METRO is developing a regional transit plan that will serve the area through 2040. Next week’s schedule is listed below. The tour continues through mid-August.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, reliable and affordable transportation services about 370,000 times per day. Besides operating more than 1,200 buses on METRO’s transportation network, METRORail‘s expanded system includes the Red Line (Main Street and Northline), Green Line (East End) and Purple Line (Southeast).
