Lyndell โLynnโ Price, 42, a former co-owner of the popular Turkey Leg Hut in Houston and current co-owner of The Oyster Hut, has been federally indicted on charges related to two arson conspiracies, the FBI announced.
The indictment, returned on April 8 in the Southern District of Texas, accuses Price of conspiring to commit arson at Bar 5015 in June 2020โa bar owned by his former business partner and fellow ex-co-owner of Turkey Leg Hut. Authorities allege Price planned the fire, which resulted in an explosion felt by nearby residents.
Price is also accused of conspiring with Armani Williams to destroy a stolen 1975 Chevy Nova by fire. Between April 20โ23, 2020, the two allegedly used their cell phones to coordinate the arson. According to the indictment, they arranged to pay a crew to carry out the act. Williams and another individual purchased gasoline, containers, and face coverings from a truck stop in Houston.
In June 2020, the FBI says Price hired and paid Williams, 27, John Lee Price, 39, and others to pour gasoline on the entrance of Bar 5015 and set it ablaze. In a separate incident, he allegedly paid John Lee Price and others to torch the stolen Chevy Nova.
All three menโLyndell Price, Armani Williams, and John Lee Priceโhave been taken into custody and were scheduled to appear before a U.S. magistrate judge at 2 p.m. on Friday.
If convicted, each faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
