Houston Mayor Turner talks about Hurricane Harvey-reservoirs, federal/state funding and uninsured (videos)

During the Defender Conversations and Coffee event, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner talked about a number of issues from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey to his plans for the last two years of his four year term. The event sponsored by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic was held at the Kingdom Builders’ Center.  The mayor addressed questions from Defender host and CEO Sonny Messiah Jiles and community members submitted some of the interview questions. This week, Defendernetwork.com will run a weekly series focusing on several of the Mayor Turner’s responses.
