Achievement Through Leadership Foundation and the Missouri City – Sugar Land Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity held its fifth annual scholarship fundraiser, Kasino Royale, at The DoubleTree Greenway Plaza with “Diamonds & Bowties” serving as the party’s theme. Along with casino tables, food, cocktails and live music, prizes like a “Porsche for the Weekend,” Ensemble Theatre season passes, and more were up for grabs. Also, 40 area educators received the “Educator of Excellence” award. Attendees included Dr. Justin Washington, Fred Navarro, Jona Sargent, Kanisha Wiley, Jeremy Wallace, Dr. Annetra Piper, Kimberly Joseph, Annette Moore, Jalene Mack, Tionna Cobb, DJ Davis, Alexia Ladipo, Tiara Tramble, Ivy Walls and many more.
