The Greater Houston Black Chamber recently hosted its 24th Annual Pinnacle Awards honoring African American entrepreneurs who have not only succeeded in business but have positively impacted the Houston-area communities and industries they serve. Wallace, Courtney Johnson Rose, MC D’Artagnan Bebel, and event chairs Sherifat Lawal-Price, Marguerite Williams, Bob Harvey and Cheryl & Percy Creuzot celebrated Lifetime Achievement Award winners from Ebony Magazine—Linda Johnson Rice, Willard Jackson and Michael Gibson, and a host of other award finalists and winners including Marcus & Mel Davis, Gerald Womack, Donovan Casanave, Dr. Milton Moore, Bonita Billings, Deidre Mathis and other business leaders.
