Change Happens! hosted its 10th Annual Spring Breakfast, themed “Planting Dreams & Harvesting Hope,” at the Junior League of Houston. The event served as a major fundraiser for the non-profit and its 18 programs that deal with education, advocacy, homelessness and HIV prevention to name a few. KHOU news anchor Len Cannon served as MC. Event chairs Vanessa Reed and Kevin Reed issued the call for donations while founder and CEO Reverend Leslie Smith II provided closing remarks.
