City Council Member Larry Green recently hosted the Post Harvey Recovery Effort Community Town Hall Meeting at the Power Center allowing citizens affected to get needed answers and information directly from agencies involved in the recovery effort. Entities present on the panel and/or at “Service Fair” tables included FEMA, Solid Waste, Housing Dept., Mayor’s Office, Public Works & Engineering Dept., Harris County Flood Control District, Dept. of Neighborhoods, HPD, Health Dept., HCAD, and the Texas Health & Human Services Commission. Attendees included Council Member Amanda Edwards, Chris Butler, Sharon Moses-Burnside, Marylyn Harris, Sasha Marshall, Sandra Rodriguez, Angelia Reese, Naomi Stevenson, Martha Castex-Tatum, Vivian Harris, Joe Gatson, Jamila Johnson and more.
